Will
you give free in-home estimates?
Yes. All
you need to do is call or e-mail us and set up your
free in-home estimate. We’ll bring the
showroom to you. One of our knowledgeable sales reps
will discuss your options with you, show you samples,
measure your windows and write up a quote while we
are there.
I’m moving to Houston or surrounding area from
out of town/state/country. Can I get an estimate if
I’m not present?
We’ve worked with customers moving to the Houston
area from all over the world. If it’s not convenient
for you to meet, we’ll coordinate with your builder
or realtor to get access to the house and take measurements.
Then we can correspond via phone, fax or e-mail to
get your estimate to you and get your job started if
you choose.
I’m building a home. Do I need to wait until
I close to contact Houston Shutters & Blinds?
Not at all – we work with many customers during
the construction phase, timing our orders so they’re
ready as close to move-in as possible. As long as we
have adequate lead time, we should be able to install
your shutters or blinds the day you close.
Can I roll the cost of my window coverings into my
mortgage?
Yes, as long as you haven’t closed on your loan
yet. In most cases, all you need to inform your mortgage
company what you’d like to do. They’ll
take our proposal and add it to your loan. At closing,
these funds are held by the title company who then
cuts us a check when the work is complete.
How long will it take to receive our shutters or
blinds?
Most of our blinds can be installed in about two
weeks or less. Our shutters do take longer, and the
total
timeframe depends on the style and current workload,
six to eight weeks.
What are your payment terms?
We require payment in full at time of order. We accept
cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, American Express,
and Discover.
What type of warranty do I get?
Our window treatments
come with a lifetime limited warranty, which
are backed by our manufacturers and us! The limited
part of this
warranty is primarily pertaining to customer
misuse
and/or abuse.
